Think Jaaved Jaaferi and you can't help but think Egg Jacktly! He brought the house down with his lovable antics in Salaam Namaste.
Ta Ra Rum Pum was another feather in his cap and now, he is all set to tickle your funny bone in Indra Kumar's Dhamaal.
But there's a lot more to the image bound 'funnyman' than just comedy. Swati R Chaudhary finds out.
Dhamaal seems to be a laugh riot with Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary and you. What is the story like?
There couldn't have been a more appropriate title than Dhamaal. The film is just about that... having fun! It's very easy to go overboard with this kind of comedy but we've kept it real. All are believable characters. Indra Kumar is a mature director with a great comic sense. Comedy can fall flat if it lasts even two seconds longer.
The story is about four good-for-nothing guys and a cop played by Sanjay Dutt. It's a cat and mouse chase. One misadventure follows another and we all are thrown into hilarious situations.
I play this simple, emotional, gullible guy who has the mind of an eight-year old kid. He is very honest and knows no cheating or conniving. His brother, played by Arshad Warsi, is just the opposite.
Then there is Riteish Deshmukh, who thinks he is detective number one. Aashish Chaudhary has this notion that he is some good looking cool dude.
