I play a simple young girl, Krishnapriya, who comes to this alien city with her husband. She is not that educated and does not know how to speak Bengali either. She then falls into a situation where she finds herself absolutely helpless.

At some point she comes to know Ajith Thomas, a television reporter of a channel called Calcutta News, played by Dileep. I think the film has a beautiful theme and the character has a certain role in creating some kind of social awareness as well.
