Vaibhavi Merchant is a talented choreographer whose clientele boasts of Aishwarya Rai (remember the Dhol Baaje song from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam?) and now Madhuri Dixit in Aaja Nachle.
Merchant, who also choreographed the popular Kajra Re song in the film Bunty Aur Babli, was tickled pink when she knew that she was going to choreograph the Dancing Queen for Aaja.

I was dumbfounded when I first came to know that I had to work with Madhuri Dixit. I have always wanted to work with her, but then just when I was starting my career, she got married and went away to the states. I was sad to miss the chance to work with her.
Then Aditya Chopra told me of Aaja Nachle and that I have to choreograph Madhuri. I could not believe my ears. I just wanted to scream, jump and shout at the top of my lungs, which I did later after my meeting with Aditya Chopra was over.
