I tried to in the beginning but I couldn't get the slang right. So it is dubbed. I hope to fare better next time.

The film has travelled to many international festivals…Have you visited any of the festivals where it was shown?

The movie was shown at Giffoni International Festival (Italy). I went there and met many directors from different countries. It was a good experience. The movie was screened at many festivals too. It was shown at the Kids for Kids International Film Festival at Cyprus and at Busan International Film Festival. It’s been selected for the Cinekids Screening Club (Amsterdam), Amnesty International Film Festival (Amsterdam).

We got invitations from Leeds International Film Festival and New York International Film Festival, Kristiansand International Film Festival, Norway and Derhum ALC International Film Festival Argentina.

What awards has the film won?

It won the Karnataka State Award and the Best Film Jury Award. I got the best child actor award. It also won the Chamber of Deputies Award (the Jury Award) at Giffony and the Children's Rights Award (Italy).
