I am very happy to take part in this festival. As it is an international film festival, I am able to meet directors from other countries. I have also been able to meet producers and distributors. I got an opportunity to see other kind of movies. It's a good experience.

It is quite prestigious for the film to be chosen for the International Competition (IC) section at the festival?

It's a big thing and I was happy the moment I got the message that it was selected in the IC category. It's the only Indian feature film in the category.

Did you get to interact with children at the festival?

The children told me after seeing the movie that it was wonderful. Some elders told me that they wept many times while seeing the movie. This made me happy.

The film was also shown at a theatre besides the official screening venue...

Yes, it was screened. I could speak to the children only before the film and not after the screening.

Is the film being remade or dubbed into Hindi and Telugu?

It is being dubbed. The Hindi version is likely to be released in December-January, while the Telugu version will be released in three-four months.

Has Jackie Shroff dubbed his voice in Hindi for that version?

Yes, he has.

I speak to him every week and give him updates on the film's performance.
