A 'Master' director at age nine!

He is just eleven years old but has already acted in about 27 Kannada movies. Meet Master Kishan from Bangalore.

This wonder kid also don the director's cap (he acted as well) with C/o Footpath at the age of nine, which made him the youngest director to enter the Guinness Book of World Records. He also got Jackie Shroff and Saurabh Shukla to act in the film.

Kishan is confident and media savvy too at this tender age. C/o Footpath, which was shown in many film festivals is the only Indian feature film to be selected in the International Competition (IC) section of the International Children's Film Festival of India held a few days ago at Hyderabad.

Kishan also won the Best Child Artiste Award in the IC category.

Now, it's over to Kishan.

How does it feel to get the Best Child Artiste Award for the International Section?

I feel very happy. More so because my film was the only Indian feature film selected in the IC.

I was disappointed I could not receive the award personally as I had to leave Hyderabad to go to Mumbai. My mother received it on my behalf. The jury members called me and told me the film was good and wanted to meet me again.
