Who broke the news to you that you would light the lamp at the inauguration of the Indian International Film Festival in Goa on the 23rd?
It was Mr Suresh of Ananda pictures who called me. He told me that the Ministry wanted to know whether I would be free on November 23. I spoke to my director immediately who agreed to free me on that day.
Are you excited?
Of course, I am very excited. Just imagine, I am going to be the only person representing the south Indian film industry. It is a great honour that they thought of me.
Have you decided on your dress?
I am going to go fully south Indian! As I am representing the south, I have to look like a south Indian in every way. I am going to wear a Kancheepuram sari with flowers in my hair. It is a cream sari with pink border.
