'Elizabeth had a hundred, thousand costumes'
Critics are not happy with your film. They say the film is overdone in terms of sets and costume.
That's not a general view. Even Elizabeth had mixed reviews -- everybody called it the MTV version of that genre. Now, I have gone a step further. They have to understand that the film is about divinity; it's about a woman who declares herself to be Virgin Mary. If the subject of divinity is over the top, then this is how it's done.
Elizabeth had a hundred thousand costumes; she changed three times a day and they were beautiful costumes.
