A Russian sings Main Shayar To Nahin
One of the highlights for the media delegation accompanying Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on his 28-hour visit to Russia was listening to Elman RajSur sing at the Khwaja Nasiruddin restaurant in Moscow.
Elman, a Russian native of the Central Asian republic of Azerbaijan, knows his Bollywood songs better than most Indians, proving it by rendering hits from the 1950s and 1970s as well as from this year's Salaam-e-Ishq and Om Shanti Om.
