Yet another much-hyped debut, this vehicle for Amitabh Bachchan's son and Randhir Kapoor's younger daughter was an unusual choice, free of frills and glamorous jhatkas.

JP Dutta crafted a compelling -- if somewhat overlong -- film, and the actors did very well in their reined-in roles. Curiously, they were given more silence than can be expected from a star-kid launch film, and while the film didn't do great at the box office, the actors certainly simmered.
