Vinod Khanna's son had a pretty explosive launch, but there was never really any star-power to speak of. Crippled by a lack of screen presence -- and Pankaj Parashar directing from a weak script -- even daddy dearest couldn't save the day. Akshaye was always too out of place for Bollywood, needing the understated stylings of Farhan Akhtar -- and the resultant new wave -- to finally find a niche.
