'As a producer, I am not nervous. As an actor, I am'

Are you looking for any specific margins?

When any film of mine is released, the margin is the number of eyeballs. I don't count it in terms of money or percentage of coverage; I count it by the number of people. I make films for the eyes and hearts of people, and pray every morning my next film is watched by the whole world. I am very nervous for audiences that have given me so much in life.

This is a cliched question, but are you nervous or excited about Om Shanti Om?

As a producer, I am not nervous. As an actor, I am. I have always said I am nervous for the audience, because whatever I am is only because of them. I truly believe that. I am always given much levy by audiences. I hope I am not letting them down.

Why this extra levy?

I don't know. Only mothers love their children as much as people in India love me. They think of me as their child. I think I am a bad habit. I am India's worst habit. I hope this is one habit people don't leave.
