Metro, GBBB open poorly

The lean period at the box office continues as last week's releases -- Life In A... Metro and Good Boy Bad Boy -- did not click.

Metro was a superficial film with few gags and nothing else. Good Boy Bad Boy was a loser from day one.

Trade pundit Vinod Mirani delivers his verdict on the box-office fate of the films.

Good effects, some great scenes.

Melodramatic, forgettable, too long.

Vinay Pathak is excellent.

Badly acted and executed remake.

Big Brother

Cast: Sunny Deol, Priyanka Chopra.

Sunny's action scenes.

Repititive 80s style action film.

Life Mein Kabhi Kabhi

Cast: Dino Morea, Aftab Shivdasani, Nauheed Cyrusi.
Director: Vikram Bhatt.
Good initial storyline, Aftab impresses.

Becomes increasingly cliched, feels too long.

Good performances, hard-hitting.
