Namastey London opens well

Last week, we saw very different movies at the marquee. Namastey London was a fun comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.

The Namesake, meanwhile, was a touching film about a family comprising of Tabu, Irrfan Khan and Kal Penn, living in the US. It was critically acclaimed, but was unable to draw in the audiences.

Trade pundit Vinod Mirani delivers his verdict on the box-office fate of the films.

Namastey London

Cool humour, beautiful locations, good performances from the lead pair.

Predictable, too many songs.
