"It feels nice to be noticed," said Kunal about his new stardom. "But I am the same person. I have not changed a bit post-Rang De Basanti."
Smiling sheepishly, he added, "I am still coming to terms that I am being noticed by the general public. I am still not used to this newfound attention."
Why did he take so long to do a film after RDB?
"I waited for the right script until Hattrick came up," said the hunky actor. "I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the film."
Echoing his RDB co-star Aamir Khan, Kunal said he realises a film is more important than its actor.
"It was his (Aamir's) greatness that made him allow Siddarth to play the role till the end in RDB whereas his character DJ dies. Only an actor like Aamir can do this. He is a visionary. I too want to be a part of a good film and I'm willing to wait," Kunal said.
