I play a widow in Red, and being widowed at such a young age is earth shattering for her. The film begins with that, as the whole world starts crumbling around her.
You play a widow, but in the promos, you look quite sensuous.
Who says a widow cannot be sensuous or cannot wear western clothes? The time has gone when widows had to wear white and break bangles. Anahita is a girl of today, and I don't think a modern girl needs to lose her essence just because her husband is no more. What should she do? Shave off her head and join a temple? I don't believe in that.
