When the gods took a backseat
There was a huge arch at the theatre entrance with big banners everywhere. Atop the theatre flew a Rajni flag in blue, white and red stripes with an image of the superstar in the centre.
One of the banners (shown here) at the entrance showed MG Ramachandran aka MGR, and Sivaji Ganesan blessing Rajni with flowers from heaven.
Banners with photos of the cast and office bearers of the Rajni Fan Clubs adorned the theatre's compound too.
