Garam Dharam is back.
After having wooed Nafisa Ali in the acclaimed Metro, Dharmendra is all set to play father to Bobby and Sunny in Anil Sharma's Apne. Dharmendra will also be honoured at the IIFA awards this year.
The actor spoke to Girish Rao about working with his sons. Excerpts:
Your fans fondly call you as Garam Dharam, and here you are doing an emotional film Apne?
Yeah, people fondly call me as Garam Dharam and that can be interpreted in many ways. I am basically a very warm person and affectionate towards people and vice versa. Doing a film with my sons has been a great emotional moment for me. We have been waiting to work together for a very long time.
You share this amazing bonding with your sons. Does it relate to the story?
Actually I can't relate my real life with the story of the film, but yes, we do live together and it's a great blessing.
This film has its own moments, where I have some differences with my son, Sunny. Fortunately we are all related by blood and I am very hopeful that audiences will like it. And they may even relate to it. It will be actually be a nice thing for the audiences to watch us together for the first time.
