Alibaba Aur 40 Chor
The magic: Forty thieves march into a treasure-filled cave that opens its doors to only one call: Khulja sim sim. Alibaba witnesses this extraordinary sight and takes advantage of the same. His greedy brother follows suit but ends up getting slain. Now it's one revenge-seeking Alibaba against an army of 40.
The movie: An Indo-Russian joint venture, Alibaba Aur 40 Chor, based on the popular Arabian Nights tale, starring Dharmendra, Hema Malini and Zeenat Aman was shot extensively in Uzbekistan. A fairly entertaining adventure best remembered for Dharam-Hema's sizzling chemistry and R D Burman's saucy score featuring Hatuba.
