Dull week at the box office

The weekend saw only one Hindi film release, Strangers. Unfortunately, the film was a dull affair with no face value. A loser all the way.

Director: Aanand Rai.
Good story, adapted from the 1951 classic Strangers On A Train

Slow first half.

Khoya Khoya Chand

Cast: Shiney Ahuja, Soha Ali Khan, Rajat Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Soniya Jehan.
Director: Sudhir Mishra.
Fantastic cinematography, classic feel of 1950s cinema, good performances from Soniya, Soha

Shiney disappoints, hard-to-relate-with characters.

BO Verdict: Flop.

Dus Kahaniyaan

Cast: Shabana Azmi, Naseeruddin Shah, Dino Morea, Dia Mirza, Manoj Bajpai, Amrita Singh, Jimmy Shergill, Masumeh Makhija, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar.
Directors: Hansal Mehta, Rohit Roy, Meghna Gulzar, Apoorva Lakhia, Jasmeet Dhodi and Sanjay Gupta.
Some of the stories are interesting and well-narrated; film holds your interest throughout.

Stories are too short and lack depth.
