Chak De: Another blow for Yash Raj?
|
|
After the Jhoom Barabar Jhoom debacle, the Yash Raj camp may still not have recovered from its slow run at the box office.
Its new release, Chak De! India had a slow opening, despite being Shah Rukh Khan's first release of the year. It picked up speed over the weekend before tapering down on Monday. Commercially not viable, however.
Sunny Deol starrer Kaafila, meanwhile, was a nonstarter.
Trade pundit Vinod Mirani tells us the fate of these films.
Note: Films are ranked according to their release dates. The thumbs ups and downs reflect rediff's views.
