'Saif is like a part of me'
After directing Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta in Salaam Namaste, the young Siddharth Anand (inset) is ready with his next release under the Yashraj Banner, Ta Ra Rum Pum, a story about a racing driver starring Saif and Rani Mukerji.
Komal Mehta caught up with the director on the eve of the film's release and quizzed him about his association with Saif and more.
What is Ta Ra Rum Pum about?
The film is about this car racer (Saif) and his family and their experiences during the span of his career. It captures the highs and lows of the sport and it's effect on the family and how to learn to smile and sing in the face of adversity. Hence, Ta Ra Rum Pum.
