Ram Gopal Varma, who recently directed Amitabh Bachchan in Nishabd, wears green to the sangeet.
The director will also direct Amitabh in his forthcoming film, Ram Gopal Varma Ke Sholay.
Before the sangeet, Amitabh had visited his mother Teji Bachchan to seek her blessings. Mrs Bachchan has been in Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital for the last six months.
