Aishwarya Abhishek Wedding  |     Email this Page  |   Write to us

'A beautiful girl will marry a charming boy'

Mohammed Iqbal was most enthusiastic.

All of 29, he was preparing for his own wedding on May 7, which is why he was very happy about the fact that Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were getting hitched.

"WOW!" he said with a smile that just refused to leave his face. "It's great. A beautiful girl is going to marry a good, charming boy."

And he was even more thrilled that "beautiful girl" was from his own land, Mangalore.

A big fan of both Aishwarya and Abhishek, he said he really liked the actress in Taal. As for Abhishek, he loved him in Guru but actually became a fan with the actor's first film, Refugee.

Besides his best wishes, this young man, had a couple of suggestions for Ash-Abhishek. He wants them to be a good couple, to know each other well and to compromise with each other where necessary. This is the advice he plans to implement in his married life as well.

Iqbal, who runs a civil engineering consultancy business in Mangalore, also makes time to indulge in his passion, singing. He even performs professionally and has been invited to sing in places like Mumbai, Chennai and Goa.

Watch the video to find out which song he dedicated to the soon-to-be married couple.

This is the first of a week-long special in which we will present video clips of reactions from Mangalore and Mumbai, about what they feel about Aishwarya-Abhishek's wedding.
