Raraju
After Ranam, Gopichand emerged as a hero for the masses. But in his latest film, Raraju, Gopichand plays a hero with a difference. He is not a hard-core action hero as he was in movies like Ranam, Yagnam or Andhrudu. Here, he has a sentimental side as well. He plays a respected, kind-hearted person who solves people's problems in his locality.
His meeting the heroine (played by National Award winning actor Meera Jasmine) is said to be portrayed on screen with a difference. Director Uday Shankar has ensured that the film has comedy too, to make it more entertaining.
Ankitha, who plays a police officer, adds glamour.
