'Men are emotionally weaker than women'

There are two interesting contrasts to the role played by me in Ankahee with my life. Firstly, I am not married. Secondly, I have never been cheated on. While doing the film, I realised the fact that men are much more emotionally weaker than women. They give to temptation more easily.

My role is that of a woman who has to decide what steps to take if her husband betrays her. In real life, I would not say an extramarital affair is right or wrong. All I can say is everyone involved gets hurt in the process. Everyone loses in the end. My character, Nandita, is a woman of today. She emerges victorious.

I believe in the philosophy of live and let live. With extramarital affairs, it is the children who suffer most. Children should be allowed to have the best of both worlds.
