In the great outdoors with Pooja Bedi
Meet the press
There were a lot of questions thrown at her, but Pooja answered them all.
She was very clear about not being interested in films anymore, and happy doing her bit on the small screen. She spoke of why she was an ambassador for Country Club, bringing her love of sports and the outdoors into the picture. She would never endorse things that could harm people, she added.
In response to a question about the Salman Khan poaching case, Bedi said that the law of the land had to be upheld, but added that 5 years imprisonment seemed a bit too extreme.
In the jungle
As dusk fell, it was our turn for a safari. Pooja came along with her children, who were as excited as she was. Travelling in open jeeps, we came across deer, sambar, wild boar, peacocks, bison and elephants. Being a few feet away from the elephants was a bit scary, especially after one tusker pushed a baby elephant to the ground and the others began trumpeting loudly.
Through the chaos, Pooja's son Omar stayed calm. Her daughter Alliya was scared though, and wanted to go back.
