When directors go astray

Every filmmaker has made at least one nightmare.

Bollywood's most respected directors have also had their awful moments. Here's a look:

Yash Chopra - Parampara

Track record: The eternal romantic, he has given us films like Silsila and Chandni. This is a director with great finesse, who believes in a well-polished product.

The goofup: In 1992, he made a film about a village with a weird duelling tradition. Sunil Dutt and Vinod Khanna acted when they shouldn't have, Aamir hammed as the film demanded, and Raveena Tandon was strapped into those hideous 80s frocks. Distinctly unwatchable.
