Meet South India's biggest sensation!

Trisha Krishnan is as hot as it gets in the Telugu film industry, having tasted success with Varsham, Nuvvastanante Nenoddantana and Athadu.

With titles at beauty pageants (like Miss Salem, Miss Chennai, Miss India Beautiful Smile) and a good modelling career, it was natural for Trisha to make her film debut.

Within a short span of two-and-a-half years, she is straddling two worlds -- the Tamil and Telugu film industries. She says, "Initially, it was difficult. Now, the films are well spaced out."

Trisha feels she "gets better characters and the expectations are high" in the Telugu industry (especially after Varsham and Nuvvastanante Nenuddontana). And she does not find acting in Telugu difficult. "I am okay with Telugu and able to speak a bit."

Her current Telugu assignments include Prabhudeva's Pournami, A R Murugadas' Stalin (with Chiranjeevi) and Gunasekhar's Sainikudu (with Mahesh Babu).
