What was shooting in the US like?
We shot around 50 per cent of the film in New York. It was difficult in the beginning because it was very cold. It took us 4-5 days to settle down. Travelling from one place to another was also difficult because of the traffic. Other than those difficulties, we could shoot in some excellent locations, and Ravi Varman's camera has captured it beautifully. We shot a lot of investigative scenes, and scenes between Kamal and Jyothika there. We took a lot of chopper shots of the city.
I will not forget shooting at Times Square where nearly 10,000 people were walking past at around 1 am. We also shot during the morning rush hour. We put two cameras on the street and shot the crowd, but people weren't bothered at all; they simply walked past. It was a good experience.
It is reported everywhere that the trailer of the film is creating a lot of excitement in the industry?
My editor made it very sleek and classy, and I am happy it has been appreciated.
