They might be perfect at sizzling things up on screen, but the film industry doesn't quite provide its heroines homemaking expertise.

Here's a look at some stunners and their greatest cooking disasters:

Bipasha Basu

Two years back, I tried to prepare fish curry. Then, my mother was living in Kolkata. I had called her up and asked the recipe because before that day, I had never even touched cooking utensils.

In Mumbai, my maids could not prepare fish curry properly. Being a Bong, I am always fond of typical Bengali dishes. I had no other alternative but to ring up my mother.

That day, I took an oath that I would prepare it myself. It was a real disaster! It turned out so bad that I had to throw away the whole thing. While frying the fish in the pan, they got stuck in such a way that the whole fish got spoilt!

When my mummy rang me up to know about my first cooking experience, I just started crying. She said there was nothing to be disheartened -- such things happen in the life of every girl. If I tried, I would really cook well one day, she said.

But unfortunately that day still hasn't come in my life. I am so busy with my work that I never had the time to give a second try. But now I have three to four new maids at home who try to cook something nice for me!
