On her favourite films

I loved Yash Chopra's Veer-Zaara and Kundan Shah's Kya Kehna.

I loved doing Veer-Zaara. I got to play from a 20 year old to a 50 year old. Also, it's a classic example of what I believe in.

Kya Kehna was the first film I signed. Dil Se released first, but I started shooting for Kya Kehna first.

Both films are entertaining, and at the same time have a social message. And I like that. I like my films to be progressive. Veer-Zaara did well for India-Pakistan relations.

I have no regrets. Every film teaches you a lesson. Success teaches you, failure teaches you even more. It teaches you to scrutinise why things went wrong. Success just makes you smile wider.
