On how she unwinds

Playing with my dog (Junior, a boxer) is a great stressbuster. He just calms me down.

I also like to cook once in a while. I'm a good cook -- I like praising myself! Kahin toh praise kar lu (Let me at least praise myself sometime)! (Laughs)

My best friends in the industry are Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan and (his wife) Suzanne, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and (his wife) Gauri. I usually party in Olive, Rain (nightclubs in Mumbai) and each other's houses.

I love books on fiction, thrillers and comics. Fountainhead (by Ayn Rand) is my all time favourite. I got it when I was in class IX, and must have read it eight or nine times. Da Vinci Code was the last proper book I read.

I like films with happy endings. I don't like dark, depressing movies. There's too much depression in the world anyway. I loved Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. It's a mad Hindi film. I watch DVDs sometimes but I would rather go out with friends rather than watch movies at home.

I'm very pressed for time these days. I spend time in-between shots by giving interviews, discussing household things with my assistant, and working. I'll be in New York till December shooting for two of my films -- Karan Johar's Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and Shirish Kunder's Jaaneman.
