On director Siddharth Anand

Siddharth is very talented. He is very sure of what he wants. I think he earned all our respect during the making of the film. It's always fun to work with new directors. They are so inspired and charged. Of course, sometimes you want to strangle them, because you're like, 'relax!'

He started the film calling us Preity and Saif. At the end of it, he was calling us beta (child). We told him that he's the oldest young man in the industry. He is 26 years old!

We shot for Salaam Namaste for three months straight, and by the end of it, we just wanted to come home. We were quite tired. We love Australia, but after a while, we were getting withdrawal symptoms. I wanted to have Pani Puri, (missed) the noise in India...
