Born on November 2, 1965, at Delhi’s Talwar Nursing Home, the boy who would grow up to be King Khan had a surprisingly calm childhood. His parents -- Mir Taj Mohammed and Fatima -- showered him with affection, taught him the things all caring parents do, and filled Flat Number 442 at Rajinder Nagar with a whole lot of love and stability.
He went to St Columba's High School, where he was often asked to stand in a corner with a finger on his lips, sometime spanked by an over-enthusiastic teacher, but generally liked by classmates and superiors.
All in all, a quiet beginning to a life that would turn out to be extraordinary by any account.
