Kareena Kapoor

During Navratri, I forget I am Punjabi! In college, I had a number of friends who belonged to different states. Even today, I am very close to some of them. It reminds me of my old friends. Even though I am a celebrity, I feel like the same old college girl when I meet them.

Now, it is not always possible for me to take part in dandiya because of the amount of travelling my job involves. I enjoy this busy schedule though, because I know it is a part of my work.

On the other hand, when I spend time with family or old friends, I keep myself aloof from my professional world. I like to spend Navratri with near and dear ones. I love my niece Samaira's company the most.

This year, during Navratri, I will not be in Mumbai much. But I can recollect my past and feel nice thinking of those days.

My new film, Kyon Ki, with Salman Khan, will be released on Diwali. I pray for its success and wish everyone a Happy Navratri.
