Meet Suparn Verma, debutant director of Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena.
Not so long ago, Suparn worked at rediff.com -- he was, in fact, a member of the founding team, and the journalist assigned to spearhead our chat efforts. Many of you may recall Suparn from the old days.
Lots of late night scriptwriting saw his name on several film credits, including Chhal, Qayamat, Zameen and Karam. Suparn is now making his first film, a caper flick, with Fardeen Khan, Kay Kay, Koena Mitra. Plus, of course, Feroz Khan in the first film he has acted in for another director since Asit Sen's Safar (1970).
This is your chance to ask Suparn about his road to Bollywood. How the film industry works; how it treats newcomers; how to get your foot in the door; how to plot a script; how to pitch a movie to a producer.
And what it feels like to step onto your own sets for the very first time.
