The year is at an end, and it's time for the box office to start working overtime.

This is a time for blockbusters released for (and pre-empting) Christmas, and big-name directors trying to fit into Oscar eligibility. Here's a look at some films we're dying to see, and why:

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire (Worldwide: Nov 18)

Who's in it: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Ralph Fiennes.

Who made it: Mike Newell.

Why we want to see it: Oh, come come. The Potter films may be fantasy at its fluffiest, but they still make for a spectacular popcorn ride. The Triwizard Tournament oughta be fun, even in the hands of the Four Weddings And A Funeral director. And Fiennes plays the very Role That Must Not Be Cast, Lord Voldemort.
