"Sohail asked us to come home. Salman, who was there, was surprised to see us. We told him we had come to narrate the script to Sohail. He joined us in the sitting," says Vinay.

"For nearly three hours," remembers Radhika, "they listened attentively to the script. After that, Salman said he would do the film. We fell flat on hearing that! We had no producer but he still agreed to do the film!"

"Vinay told me Salman may have said yes because he was being polite and that he could not refuse. But to our surprise, Salman called the next day and fixed everything for us. Lucky would not have been possible if Salman was not there. Then, we got Sohail Khan and T-Series to produce the film jointly."
