Many viewers believed Rahul was one of the more talented singers on the show, and unfairly voted out by the millions who vote for the ones who stay on the programme.
With less than two days to go for the results of the Indian Idol final between Abhijeet Sawant and Amit Sana to be declared, rediff.com spoke to Rahul, who has been signed on by Indian Idol judge Farah Khan, to sing in her new film, Happy New Year, starring Shah Rukh Khan.
