Andre Agassi
Agassi decided not to play Wimbledon from 1988 to 1990, because of the tournament's mandate that players only wear white. He claimed Wimbledon had 'a stuffy atmosphere.'

With the help of his tennis-fanatic father, Andre Agassi used to hit at least 3,000 tennis balls every day, seven days a week as a child.
Agassi turned professional just two days after his 16th birthday.
