MTV video jockey Anousha Dandekar makes her film debut in this Friday's release Viruddh.
A visibly excited Anusha -- she gets to share the frame with the 'god of Indian cinema' Amitabh Bachchan in her very first film -- says the film has been a learning experience for her.
Viruddh is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and also stars Sharmila Tagore, Sanjay Dutt and John Abraham.
The 23-year-old debutante shared her experiences with Patcy N. Excerpts:
Viruddh is the story of a middle-class family consisting of Amitabh Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, John Abraham and me. It's about how they come together in times of need and how there can be a great twist to your fairy tale family. Besides, just because you belong to the middle class, it is not that you cannot fight the system.
