With 12 contestants living at the Gurukul for 14 weeks and brushing up on their singing talent, the winners will be called the Fame Jodi.

The contestants will be judged by Javed Akhtar, K K and Shankar Mahadevan, and will be taught by Ila Arun -- the headmistress of the Gurukul -- and teachers Prashant Samadhar and Padma Wadekar.

The elaborate sets, situated at Mumbai's suburban Andheri, have been designed by Sameer Chanda.
