The Daily Mail, the British tabloid newspaper, recently published the results of a survey, asking over a thousand British men the simple question: Which American star would you most like to spend the night with?

The results were stunningly classic, a throwback to silverscreen goddesses. Even the more contemporary inclusions are those well-suited to the glorious films of yore.
