Madhur Bhandarkar's Page 3 is causing quite a stir in party hub Mumbai. Here's a look at four vital characters from the movie, in their own words:

Atul Kulkarni

How did you get your role?

I did this role basically because of Madhur Bhandarkar. When he calls, it is my duty to be on the sets. Also, I knew that even if it was a guest appearance, the character was very different. I was sure he [Madhur] wouldn't waste me even if the role was small. And as this is the first film on this subject, I think it is important.

My character:

Vinayak Mane is a journalist who covers crime, and is against the theory of page 3 and whatever is going on these days in newspapers. He is the pivotal character who changes the main protagonist's (Konkona Sensharma) perception.

Forthcoming Films:

Rang De Basanti by Rakesh Mehra, Marathi films Chavka and Devraee, and Manasarovar in English. I'm doing a lot of theatre as well right now. Madhur and I have been thinking about doing a comedy together for the last year-and-a-half; let's hope that materialises now.
