Bollywood has always lent a generous helping hand whenever India has confronted a calamity.
After South India was devastated by the tsunami disaster on December 26, Bollywood stepped forward to provide relief for the victims.
Soon after the tragedy, Vivek Oberoi rushed to Devapattinam to bring funds and support for the survivors of the catastrophe.
On Sunday, February 6, Bollywood stars gathered in suburban Mumbai to stage a concert and a six-hour telethon to get Indians and NRIs to donate money to help the tsunami victims rebuild their lives.
