I have been toying with the idea of Mr ya Miss for quite some time. When it finally concretised and was about to be handed over to a director, I had butterflies in my stomach. Will a director be able to give a proper form to my story, I wondered. For, every director, I believe has a vision of his or her own. Therefore, a particular story can be directed in 10 different ways by 10 different people. I felt it would be improper to except someone utterly different than me to direct the film a way I had wanted to.

Hence, I thought of wearing the director's cap instead. I found a co-director in Satchit Puranaik.
