I always wanted to be in the limelight. After school, I got modelling offers. But my parents wanted me to finish graduation before chasing my dream. When the audition offer for SS music came, my father said, `No way you can do it'. I said, `I would do both - study and be a VJ'. He let me do both.

How did SS Music happen?

Somebody told me audition was happening for a music channel and asked me, `Why don't you give it a try.' I went for the first audition but was not selected. Second. Still no luck. It took me five auditions to get into the SS Music. But once I got in, there was no looking back. I have been with them for four-and-a-half years.
