The conventional Bollywood role for such a girl is that she becomes a negative character in the film, while the Indian girl wearing Indian clothes is positive. But let me clarify I don't have that kind of a role in Barsaat.

Priyanka is born and brought up in India, and I am born in a foreign country. We are brought up in different atmospheres, but we love the same man.

People will be able to identify with Bobby's character. He is a small town man, but very ambitious. He does not listen to his family members when it comes to his life. When he leaves home, he falls in love and that is the story of the film.

I feel men and women will be able to relate this story. You know career and relationships don't go hand-in-hand at times. That's what the story is all about.
