But Mahima makes it clear she will not answer any questions other than those about her new film, Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaaye, releasing on April 15.
News Editor (Entertainment) Syed Firdaus Ashraf spoke to the actress about the film, and how she made a brief comeback with her Pardes co-star Shah Rukh Khan, who makes a special appearance in the film. Excerpts:
In Kuchh Meetha, I play a young girl married to an old man who is a writer based in London. Let me clarify, this is not the story of Padma Laxmi and Salman Rushdie!
In the film, I have come to Ganganagar, India, to meet my in-laws. My visit comes at a time when there is no communication between my husband and me. Our marriage exists only as a namesake. We don't talk to each other, and behave like exes, even though we live together. There are some interesting dialogues between us. You will enjoy them. We are very sarcastic and want to outdo each other.
